Dogbone Wanted
No, I don't have a dog, I'm referring to the radiator cap that has two ears to loosen it when it is hot. I need one drilled for a motometer and nickle plated. anybody have a nice one to sell? I have a nicely fixed up ebay Motometer to top it.
I just bought a chrome dogbone from Restoration Supply and despite assurances that it would fit a Model A, it is too small. The chrome looks wrong anyway.
Some time ago, Geoff had said that the Super Six used the same cap as a Model A. I had thought I had tried it without success in the past and said so. A few days ago, my friend Big Jim brought his '28 A over and I threaded a Hudson cap on with no worries. They ARE the same size, Geoff is quite right about this.
