Generator, and Intake Manifold

Hi Folks,



Is there a way to adjust the charging rate on the OEM generator?

I.E., by adjusting the brush?



Secondly, is the heat riser and intake manifold supposed to be bare

cast iron, or painted some color? Were they painted on the motor, and

therefore should be green?
