Rich, the big problem with the oil cups is that they continue to wick the
oil out even when the car is not moving, so you in effect lubricate the
garage floor if you keep these cups filled. They changed over to grease
lubrication in 1929, and its a simple job to change all the oil cups for
modern grease nipples.
