I believe that the only spark plugs that are made now in 18 mm are Champion

D16, which are a mid heat range and 1/2" reach. The Hudson and Essex

originally had long reach plugs which went right to the bottom of the

threaded hole, but these are no longer available. So you can get any plug

you like, providing you use champion D16! However, you may just find a set

of different old stock plugs at swap meets, as I did recently. These were

KLG 3/4" reach, and were in two parts, with a threaded body, so you could

take them apart for cleaning. Probably used in the outboard motor of the

Ark! Good luck.
