Yes, I used a narrow cylindrical condensor out of a motor mower! I mounted

it inside the distributor, but it only lasted 12 months before it failed.

Nowadays I just use a conventional condensor mounted outside. I don"t have

the original electrolock on my car, so I made up a terminal post screwed

to the bottom of the contact plate, to extend out through the hole where the

electrolock mounted, and have the wire from the coil and the condensor

mounted thereon. I can send a pic if anyone interested.
