Re: [HSS] Spark Plugs
I should read all the postings before jumping in with a reply! I have just
checked in my box of goodies, and found an original set of AC G14 plugs
which are original equipment for Essex 6 and F-head Hudson motors. They are
3/4" reach. I bought these on ebay, and will probably never use them in my
lifetime, but they sure looke nice! Also a set of KLGTML 50 which are also
3/4" reach, so I assume a replacement. These of course are all made of
unobtainium. For all intents and purposes, the universal Champion D16's are
quite suitable. I believe D21 and D23's are still available from Champion.
The D23's are an extremely hot plug, and have an extended electrode similar
to the originals. The KLG's are an extrtemely well-made plug, being in two
pieces, the top section demountable for cleaning.
