Yahoo, and File Space

Gang,

A point not easily resolved with Yahoo is our space limitation. High

quality photos, scans of technical documents, and so forth are

voluminous files, and we just don't have the space.

To alleviate this problem to some degree I have set up a domain on my

server at hudson.coatscars.com. If any list member is interested in

having a directory at this site, I will extend the invitation. Your

URL would be http://hudson.coatscars.com/your_chosen_name. Just send

me a private message with your directory name of choice, password, and

e-mail address and I will set you up. You are welcome to set up a

website there, or just post files or pictures and use it as an FTP

site or to link to from another page for file storage. There is no

space limit, at least not for now.

On another note, I have three different message board systems I am

tinkering with, just out of curiosity. They have multiple forums and

message threads, and are highly searchable, and allow for private

messaging and other features, however as of yet do not have the

ability to e-mail users messages or daily digests-- as in, you have

to log into the site to see the messages. There is also no specific

section for files, however, one could use the domain listed above.

If anyone is interested, let me know.

Best Regards,

James Coats
