Engine ReAssembly Questions
1. I know that head gaskets are availabe for my 1926. Are the paper
gaskets for the oil pan etc still out there, or do I have to make them
by hand?
2. What is the ropey gasket that seals the main bearings at each end?
It sits in a groove, and I have no idea what it is or where to get it.
3. The crank bearings should be 0.00015 clearance, I'll set those with
platigage. Should the connecting rods be the same clearance?
Thanks in advance for any info.
