It's a bit of a hassle getting the front vibration dampener off, as it will

not clear the bottom radiator mounting bracket. However, you can undo the

radiator bolts, loosen off the hose clips, (means draining the water!), and

move the whole assembly forward enough to get the dampener off. You will

have to tap it with a lead hammer or such like ot get ti come off

probably. Then you can remove the timing case and replace the seal and

gasket. Tip - if you can;t get a new felt seal, just pack in behind it with

a layer of gasket paper or soft string, which effectively shrinks it down.
