Well, you have to find out where it is leaking first. It could be a bad
layshaft bearing cover gasket - you can cut new ones for these out of gasket
paper, and use some shellac on it. The rear seal is a felt seal, and you
can make a new one out of engineers felt if you have a circle cutter. the
front has no seal, just a screw thread in the bearing cap.
