Brett, I had a set cast in alloy some years ago, and still have one pair,

unfinished. I'll hang on to them, and you can get back to me if you ever

need them. They normally only break if abused somehow..

Have you ever had sets of these r.h.d gears cast before? (and if

so, do you have any left for sale? ) - or would you consider using

this spare set you have as patterns to have some bronze sets cast

now.



Mine are presently still holding together, but judging by the recent

postings about these "monkey metal" parts, they will probably

eventually fail, and it'll be therefore be useful to replace them

now with bronze ones that won't ever fail. No doubt others in N.Z.

would also be happy to obtain bronze RHD sets
