Oil Pump ReBuild
I re-assembling my 1929 oil pump. From my 'manual' it appears there
should be a 1/2" ball sitting on top of the piston shaft. That ball
was in the correct location when I took the pump apart.
There also appears to be a 3/8" ball shown below the piston shaft. I
do not have that ball on my pump.
Do these act as check valves, and are they both required?
