Hello all. I have just joined this site. I have been in the other

Hudson group for a few years but no too active.



I am trying to get around to restoring my 5 passenger sedan now. My

problem is I have solid, non-rusted fenders but they are severely

damaged all along the outer edges. My car was supposedly used as

a "set car" for MGM studios in the TV series "The untouchables"

where it apparently was in many side-swipes. Other than those

fenders, the car is amazingly straight and solid. I have found a vey

good left rear replacement. I am talking with "Blackie" now about a

right rear. I could really use some good fronts, particularly the

right.



My engine was rebuilt by the previous owner so I don't expect to

have to do anything to it, although it has been a few years now.

When I got the car, the engine was still bolted to a shipping crate

from the remanufacturer.



My photos are on about the 14th page photos on the Hudson site. It

is now a black car, still on the trailer bringing it home in the

photos.



I would appreciate any help finding good fenders, gas tank, right

door lock and inside handle, and most likely a few other parts

before I get done.
