Re: [HSS] Diff gears.

I can certainly help you
out with a standard wheel & pinion ... but is a 53/13 is a high ratio?
- something I have none of. Just let me know if you want a std. one

Subject: [HSS] Diff gears.
Help - my '29 7 Passenger sedan has stripped the
rear end gears! I noticed a slight clickety-click, while coming up
the drive. Found up and down play in the universal joint, so replaced
that, but the noise was still there. Took the back plate off, and found two
teeth missing off the pinion! Does anyone know where I can get
another 53/13 crown wheel and pinion? Have posted on the Classicar
forum as well, but thought it best to try as many sources as
possible.
