Essex Article Sought
The California Inland Chapter of the HET is hosting the Western Regional meet this year. The theme is going to be "The Roarin' Twenties" and the Essex cars were a huge part of the success of the company in those years. We need to tell the Essex story.
I am looking for an article about the Essex cars detailing the development, production, transformation from F-head 4 to L-head six, acclaim and final decline and renaming to become the Terraplane. Essex lore would be welcomed. Would anyone care to take this on?
The length should be under 2000 words, even under 1000 might work out fine. High Q illustrations would be a useful addition. Deadline is the end of this month. If you would like to do this, please ping me off list.
