It's largely a question of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it, or you're

likely to break it"!!!

As far as wire-brushing the valves and pistons, I would be careful you don't

let too much dust and rust go down the bores. Just check the rockers for

play, and if there's none, wash them off and lubricate them. the valves

would probably need lapping in at least, but check the faces for being

smooth, with no pits or burning. I can probably find you a rocker pivot if

you haven't found one already. Send your address.
