Interesting history.  The Dalgety plate
indicates that it was sold by Dalgetys in Australia by this firm who were one of
the chief importers of Hudsons in that era. As to who made the body, this would
be hard to work out. It may have been Biddle & smart, but who kows? 
  It still carries the N.Z.  registration plates.  I remember
hearing of this car back in the 80's, and suspected at the time that the owner
was more interested in making a mint out  of it than in the actual car
itself.

I received an email from a fellow in the UK that has
a '22 "Speedster" for sale. This is not what Hudson would have called a
Speedster, but a very nice looking two seat Roadster. The car has RHD and
looks good in the pics. The body is not familiar to me from any Hudson
references I have seen and may be a special body of some sort.
