1917 oil pump
Hi Guys;
Looking for some help with my oil pump on my 17. When I prime the
pump and run the engine I get normal pressure. Around 3 to 3 1/2
pounds. But when I let it set for more than two or three hours I lose
the pressure and I have to prime the pump again. I have looked for
leaks and tighten all the fittings. I pulled the check ball out and
cleaned the seat. Still no luck. I have a loop in the oil line where
it conects to the pump to keep the oil from running back in to the
crank case. Anthing else I should be looking at? Gene.
