Front Main Cap Oil Wick ?

I do believe that some of my oil leaking may be coming from the wick packing. Is there a fix without removing the cap like removing the wick and using a silicone for a seal? Or can the wick packing be removed and repacked with new ? And what would that be ? Would like to know before replacing the timing chain cover. Thanks Ron
