There is a thin gasket between the adjusting flange and the crankcase, and

between the flange and the bronze housing. You need a wire to carry 30

amps. Anything less will cause heating and voltage drop. I'm not sure of

the wire gauges you use in your country. Here they are marked in amperage,

15 or 30 usually. As a rule - "If in doubt, fit a heavier wire than you

think you will need".
