starter on a 1926 hudson
ok Im back and starting to work on the hudson,I went to try and get
the starter to turn over the motor and can not for the life of me
figure it out yet,I belive its a positive ground but where is the
solonoid?, what wires would you cross to elminate the starter button,I
really don't know if there is a starter button.there is one lever on
the floor that is froze up and looks like one I found in my old truck.
I get spark when I hook up the positive to the body and the negative
to the starter but nothing happens when I switch the ground to the the
body and the positive to the starter then I get no spark at all... so
any way its not like the starter on my old tractor (allis chalmers)
nor does it look like my new moderen 1957 chevy starter
so you see I need some help...
