This will only temporarily cure the problem, as soon as it dries out again

the spokes will start to work. You have to dismantle the wheel, that is ,

undo the centre hub bolts, take out the spokes, cut shims to fit over the

end, and re-assemble. I'm preparing an article for the W.T.N. on this

technique. Wood wheels are the same as wires - each spoke has to be tight

to carry it's share of the load. the spokes wedge against each other in

the centre, and shimming the outer ends tightens this wedge. Make sure you

nimber the spoke and holes, as you havone only one chance in 479,001,600 in

getting them back in the correct order.
