29 Hudson Water Leak ?

I took my 29 for a ride today and noticed water leaking around the shaft that sticks out the front of the engine that holds the cooling fan. What and how is the fix ? Also the freeze plug next to it might need a replacment also and is this a normal freeze plug ? Thanks, Ron
