Speed & RPM ????
I am sure some of you have checked the gearing with the RPMs with the speed and the wheel size and come up with a good resonable RPM to SPEED that a 1929 in good running condition will do with out hurting the engine. So for starters we will talk about my 29 with the stock "LOW" gears with wooden wheels I will ask what High Speed would you cruise at for a long distance ? Are all sedans Custom or Hudson made with the same low gears from Hudson? And what Hudsons in 1929 had the "HIGH" gears ? Thanks and I hope when I drive my Hudson at 65 MPH I can say its good and all that noise is just the fan ? LOL. Ron
