    Paul, I reckon it could be dirty gas, rather than
    "bad".   It only takes a litlle amount of grit to cause the piston
    inside the carburettor to stick slightly, and this could have been your
    problem.  Otherwise it could have been a heat problem.   I
    suggest you discard the hot-air pipe from the carb, and get as much cold air as
    possible in there.  As far as the wheels are concerned, I have outlined how
    to fix them.  Do you want me to comoe over and do them???   Best
