27 Headlights & Carb

Thanks to all who responded to my inquiries regarding 27 headlights and

carb. You have cleared some things up for me. However, some questions

have also arisen. The Mech. Spec. HSS27 in the links indicates a 9"

Spreadlight for cars # 750001 to ----. The parts list Alex so kindly

sent (Hudson-Essex, 1929), indicates on Page 13, Part # BO-28014

through car # 735172 and BO-28667 from there through car # 790399. Not

knowing what the BO#s represent, I'm not sure if one of these lists is

in error or if the Mech. Spec. covers only through car # 735172. I

assume that I am seeking BO-28667 for my car # 764328 if that part #

represents an 8" Parabeam. These lists would seem to indicate that

earlier 27s used 9" Spreadlights. Anybody need a pair of nice 9" HSS

logo Spreadlight lenses in corroded barrel housings?
