"1927" Hudson Roadster on eBay
We had a local politician from Kentucky on this list some years who had imported a "1927" Hudson Anderson or Pioneer bodied Roadster from the Argentine. He sent us a picture of himself driving it in a parade and then disappeared off the radar never to respond again.
That cars has now reappeared on eBay:

It is an interesting mishmash of parts but is mostly what we think of as a '26 model with side valve engine, triple crowned fenders and two wheel brakes. The car is RHD. Since we last saw it, it has had a respray.
Odd bits that I spotted in a quick look were 1927 style radiator shell & headlights and a steering wheel.
Pictures exist of at least one '26 with the '27 bullet headlights. My own '26 has the all walnut wheel from a '27. Possibly these were factory installed as parts stocks for the old models ran low. My '26 is a very late number, so that fits the story.
The steering wheel on this roadster has the metal spider indicating a proper '26 feature. So where did the '27 parts come from?
Possibly it was gussied up by a dealer or by the owner who wanted to keep his car looking up-to-date.
In any case, it is an interesting car and I hope its new owner will join us here on this list.
