1929 Hudson town sedan , a lot of questions
Queston 1, how to polish the valve covers
Any alum polish will do but Ted, my Hudson buddy recomends
"Incredible Metal Polish"
Pited oil cups, first step is to sand out pits using 220 grit sandpaper
working to 600. Then polish on a wheel. They were rusty and came out
great.
Rough clean the valve cover with 0000 steel wool and then polish.
It takes time but results are good
