Messing with 1929 Hudson Timing Chain
Here are two close up (and large) pictures of my timing belt and
gear. It looks like I need to pound the pin out of the oil/water
pump/generator drive shaft.

What I am worried about is if the shaft is siezed up in the water
pump, how do I get it broken loose to get it to come out. Are there
any other issues I need to watch out for when removing the shaft?
Notice how pitted the shaft is after the second packing nut.
