More help on 1929 Hudson Town Sedan
I am progressing on going through the externals on the engine.
I was successfull in getting the accessory shaft off the side of the
motor.

I still cannot get the generator collar off the end of the shaft. I
heated the collar up until it was glowing red and it did not move an
inch.

I am taking it to a machinist friend of mine and seeing if he can
press it out. I will probably have him make me a new shaft.
I was attempting to take the starter off, I removed the hold down
strap, un-bolted the solenoid but I cannot get the starter out.
Before I really started prying on it, is there something I am
missing. The body will spin back and forth but the gears won't seem
to pull out. Any advice?
If anyone has a engine manual electronically, that would help.
A thanks to Sheldon Rody for a sending me a care package of "stuff"
and information to help move me along.
