New member with 1916 Hudson
Hello,
My name is Larry. My Dad has a fully restored 1916 Hudson. He
is ill and asked me if I could find a buyer. He's in Idaho and I'm
in Southern California - where we assume the market is better. I
believe it is a Cabriolet (2 door sedan). I've also heard him call
it a "Doctor's Sedan?" I'm flying up to see him tomorrow and wanted
to bring him some info. I will also check the serial number and take
some pictures to better identify exactly what model it is when I get
there. The engine, body, paint, interior, windows, tires and spoke
wheels are in excellent condition. When I was up last month he
started it up and drove it to the storage unit but, unfortunately
he's on hospice now and the morphine makes it impossible for him to
help me start, drive and show the car. I plan to locate an appraiser
when I get there, but I wanted to give him a 'rough' idea what the
car may be worth - if anyone out there can give me a 'ballpark.' I
appreciate your help.
I also added a photo I found online that looks a lot like Dad's car.
Maybe it will help you identify the model. The album name is "Dad's
1916."
My appologies to hudsoncoach - I accidentally added this same photo
to your 24 HSS Auburn CA album while I was figuring out how to use
the add photo function. Please feel free to delete!
