Split rim breakthrough!

Greetings all, I have just returned from attending
the Australian H.E.T. National Rally.  Whilst there, we visited a back
country machine shop where the owner is manufacturing new split
rims.   He can make new split rims for any type of car, including our
scarce-as-hens-teeth '27 -'29 rims for 19" wheels.   These would be
around $300 each.  I have seen the process, and can vouch for the
quality.   I would have to supply a sample rim and a felloe for him to
fit the new rtims to for a perfect fit.  If anyone is intersted, please
contact me, and I'll see about getting the process started.  There would
also be a freight cost of course, and you will have to pint the rims
yourself.
