Hudson Identifications
Gentlemen:
Thanks for your help with tire information and
finding a hood.
finding a hood.
I want to be sure I know what I have in terms of
year and terminology.
year and terminology.
The car I am beginning to restore is a 2 door
sedan. The engine number is 337311. The number stamped in the body
sill is 00013787 and dash tag is blank where the space is for the Model Number,
but the "Car No" is 522929.

The other Hudson I have is a large 7 passenger
touring car, engine number 181130. It is a car that a local car collector
had on Staten Island, is partially apart, and I have not yet found the firewall
tag for it.

Both cars are titles as 1922. I have a serial
number book for US cars by Grace Brigham but that information would show the
coach to be a coupe, and the touring to be right hand drive, which is clearly is
not.
