A Little 29 Carb. Info.

I have been gathering 1929 Hudson Marvel parts from John Meadows and Geoff Clark to make a complete brass bowl carb. to replace my carb. on my 29 incase it desides to crumble. I have all the carb. parts and have it together but the float was not working and gas would not stop seaping into the bowl. I found that the brass cast has some small divits and will not seal with just a fiber gasket on the seat. I put a small rubber O-ring along with the fiber gasket on the seat that screws into the carb. bowl and that worked. Just some information. This is not on my car yet just on a board. Take care, Ron
