28 Huson roadster, Lebaron coachwork

Hello everyone! This is my first post on this site. I just purchased

my Hudson and have confirmed that it is the one that was featured in a

photo for the Don Butler book "history of Hudson 1992.I ordered a copy

on ebay but haven't gotten it yet but I believe the picture is b&w.I

have no proof this is a "LeBaron" but an expert assures me it's

authentic. No one I've spoken to has ever heard of a 28 LeBaron Hudson

roadster, but if it is, it's the only one around. The car does have

what appears to be "matching script", badges. This car was parked in

1957 and not moved since.I've also been told this car was featured in

a car mag cover entitled"famous Hudson dealer won't sell". Anyone have

any info on this fact? It sure would help. The car also has a pair of

horns mounted on the pass. side of the hood, and some strange looking

grill guard on it.Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.A Sisto
