Question on 29 Hudson drive shaft
Things are progressing on my 29. I hope to have the cylinder block
back by early next week, which of course starts the meticulous process
of reassembly. The end of the drive shaft has a threaded opening on
the shaft just before the U-Joint assembly. Looks like a a grease zirk
hole. It appears to go right into the shaft so that doesn't make
sense. It is on the non-expanding end closes to the differential. Does
anyone know what the hole is for? Does this grease/oil the rear u-
joint? I can take pictures tomorrow if my description is confusing.
