Quick question on Piston installation for 1929 Hudson

Is there a specific way that the slanted slot in the piston skirt

should go when you install the piston? I didn't think about it much,

but before I put the head on, I thought maybe I should validate. I

installed them with the slot like this / when looking at them from the

front of the car. (Bottom to the right side, top to the left side).
