What is the stupidest thing you have done working on cars?
I thought it has been a little dead the last couple of days. I thought
I would bring up something none of us like to talk about, at least for
a couple of years after the event.
Ok, this is still fresh, after putting the head on and the manifolds
with all new gaskets, a couple days ago, I was looking for something in
my parts drawers and pulled out the two head guides that keep the head
in place. I cannot believe I forgot to put those little buggers back
in, but I went ahead and undid a couple nights work, pulled the head,
put them back in and reassembled. I will be able to go to sleep
tonight.
Someone has to be able to beat this. It has to be something you did,
not something outside of your control.
