Overheating
Hi guys,
It's summer here in Oz, and I've been having a few overheating
problems with my 27 Huddo. This occurs only on the hottest days, when
the temperature is above 35 Celsius, and I've got a cross, or trailing
wind, in other words, pretty harsh conditions.
I've just had a new core put into the radiator, and I wonder if
the faster flow through it is not giving the radiator time to do it's
work. I've experimented with a restrictor in the bottom hose, after
not having one led to boiling even on days when the temperature was
only 30 degrees.
The restrictor I've got there is bored out to 5/8 inch. Do any of
you have any suggestions, or do I just pull over to the nearest pub,
and wait till everything cools down naturally.
Cheers, Wolfgang
