Sidemount tyre strap

The tyre buckle is 2 in wide at end with roller, it tapers and end at

belt is 1 7/8 . From the roller across the buckle to other side it is

2 in.

See in Hemmings or internet, there is a 'Buckle man"

Lots of curves on the buckle, will email you a pic if you want to

send to the buckle man or check with a harness maker.



The belt from where it folds over the buckle is 30 1/4 to pointed end.

It is 1 3/8 wide. On the backside where the belt folds over the

buckle it is 3 in long with 4 brass rivits and the belt loop held

between the three rivits. The belt loop is 3/4 wide.



The first hole is 3 in from tip , with holes every inch with a total

of 7 holes. The belt thickness is 1/4 or slightly less.



Probably the orginal leather was a pink colored pigskin. The problem wi

with that is in time it will turn black and stain whitesidewall tyres.

My leather maker used a leather that was dyed a brown color and it is

coated so it will not change colors or stain, your harness maker will

know what it is. If not let me know.



Would suggest checking measurements of sidemount arm where belt goes

thru before ordering.
