Steering Gear
I was out driving around the neighborhood for about 30 minutes going
up and down hills playing with the advance, doing brake tests, getting
the motor warmed up. I noticed that I had some play in the steering.
It appears to me that the majority of the movement is in the main
steering arm shaft in the steering box. You can see the shaft
torquing one way or the other when a move the wheel. Is there anyway
to tighten down the shaft or would it need to be sleeved/bearing
replaced? At this stage I am not planning on messing with it, but I
was curious how big of a job it would be?
