This is a matter I have no experience with wifely issues but hopefully some of the married folks here can give you some pointers.
As to the car, the more pics I see, the better I like it. I could spot NO body damage or missing body parts at all. Everything looks intact & straight. The dirt & flash glare can hide problems, but it sure looks good. One of the biggest Qs in my mind would be the condition of the wood in the body. Unless you are a wood worker, recreating or repairing the wood can be a major expense.
Others have pointed out missing items like wheels, top, instruments, coil and so forth. We can add a fan to the list and remove an item. The headlights look like they belong there. Overall, I'm impressed more by what is there and in good shape than by the list of items that are not. Make no mistake, this is going to be a big project, but it looks solid enough to take a flyer on and you will be way ahead of many others out there. Do check that wood!
BTW, I'm glad its not close to me. I might be tempted to do something stupid myself . . .
