Well the training for my deployment has begun. So I might was well do

some research. I need help in several areas.



1. I received a quote of $1600 to respoke all four wheels. Is that

consistent with what others have recieved for quotes?



2. Rebuilding distributor, generator, and gauges. Does anyone know a

good source for rebuilding all these components?



3. The source I have for rims does not have 26" rims. Does anyone

know a source. Does anyone know why the books show the 17 having only

25" rims and why the touring would have 26" rims?



4. My headlight rims have square edges. Anyone know the difference

with the rounded edge rims that the pictures show?
