Steering Hub Remove & Install ?
I am replacing the steering column support & streeing wheel hub. When I
was removing the steering wheel hub main center nut it was not tight.
Now when installing the new one I can not tighten it because it
rides "HARD" on the main column and will not turn.I also tried the old
one with the same problem and now know why it was not tight. What am I
or this car missing ? There is nothing to stop the hub from going down
on the steering shaft except the main column edge of steel. Thanks,
