1917 Hudson touring wheels
Well I just sent my wheels off to Ohio yesterday to have Noah Stutzman
redo them while I am in Afghanistan. I have been at Fort Riley Kansas
for the last 6 weeks, but since it is only 5 hours from Des Moines, I
have been able to come home several weekends. Shipping cost about
$170, but Noah's estimate of $800 was a lot cheaper than a local buggy
repair shop who wanted $1600.
What do you all think about stained spokes versus painted? I believe
someone said that you could get them stained from the factory for an
upcharge. Are they more original if they are painted? Interested in
opinions.
