Gasket Material
Starting assembly of my 29 Super Six engine (finally!).
Just wondering what I should use for the lower gasket, i.e. the cylinder to crankcase gasket. I am thinking I can just use regular paper gasket material and make my own, but maybe a more modern sealant (RTV, a Loctite product, or something similar) would be better? I also have copper, it that's more appropriate.
I have a new head gasket (somewhere), hoping to get this assembled in the next few weeks and not spend a lot more money.
Thanks in advance.
