1929 Hudson Speed issues
While I was home on leave, a friend of mine helped me make some headway on my speed issues with my 1929. (I could not get it over 43 miles per hour.) Well we figured out that the points spring in the distributor was weak. I was able to get it up to about 55 before the spring weakened again. I also thing that the valve springs has something to do with it, but that is a much bigger project.
Still trying to locate a block for my 1917. I have had some good leads and still have some to work through to see if they will do the job. Please keep your eyes and ears out for parts as we they are getting harder to find.
