Distribut Cap Info
I was sure that I read somewhere here that the Super-six distributor cap was common to many tractors and was still available at NAPA.
My local NAPA outlet had a 1935 Hudson distributor cap listed, but nothing earlier. It does not look like the 1935 cap is right for the earlier cars, because the spring clips are low on that cap, while my 1929 uses clips that reach almost the top of the cap.
The distributor cap off my 1929 has part number 16-323 on the inside, but it is hard to read. It might also be 1G-323.
Do I need to shell out the bucks and go to northwesternautosupply.com for a new cap?
