Connecting rod lengths and where to buy 16-23 pistons

I need to make a decision about which rods and pistons I need to find. Geoff, you have mentioned two different lengths. Since I need to buy all 6 pistons, I thought I try and find out what is available to buy. I know Egge (expensive) has replacements and there was a place I found in Australia. I wouldn't mind getting a modern piston, for the sake of the better rings. What are your recommendations on pistons and then how do I determine which size rod to get? What are your recommendations for where to buy the pistons?
