I have absolutely no problems with the following set up,

- Yahoo groups automatically emails to my yahoo email account any new HSS or SX emails

- I read my Yahoo emails using the SAFARI browser

  (as it happens I use an APPLE iMac but SAFARI browser also runs on the Bill Gates' operating systems, and of course its free to download and use by anybody)

- when I open the email containing the attachment the thumbnail(s) are immediately visible within the text of the document

- I simply click once on the little thumbnail photo of the subject and
the Yahoo Groups photos facility automatically opens up as an additional browser window showing a large or an optionally larger picture of the subject - its just terrific

- click the window off when finished ogling

There is no downloading or anything here - its all done in the so-called CLOUD. If I want I can download and keep the photo in my Apple Mac iPhoto program and file it away.

Hope this sheds light for somebody.
